Board of Trustees
The Unity on the River board of trustees is an organized body of committed individuals who strive to insure a clear focus of our mission, growth, values, and fiscal stability. Board members are elected at our annual meeting in January and serve three-year terms.
George Araneo
Member
George has been on a spiritual path for the last 40 years. He discovered Unity in Boulder, CO in the mid 1980’s and knew he had found his spiritual home. Over the past two years he has rarely missed a service at Unity on the River.
He believes strongly in UOTR’s mission to awaken humanity to its divinity and loves working with the Unity board and fellow congregants to fulfill this mission.
George made a mid-life career transition from corporate sales to filmmaker in his early forties getting a master’s degree in Philanthropy & Media at the Visionaries Institute of Suffolk University.
He has lived in Newburyport for the last eight years and loves the access to nature available to him as it is an important element in his spiritual journey.
