Unity Prayer Class
Taught by UOTR Prayer Chaplain Trainer
Mark Schneider
Dates 3/1/26 and 3/8/26
Time 12:00-1:30ish
The Unity movement was based on prayer developed by its founders Charles and Myrtle Fillmore.
How does Unity define Prayer and how can you make YOUR LIFE a Living Prayer?
The first session teaches how to use the Unity affirmative prayer, a spiritual practice using a structured five step process, for personal growth, healing, and guidance. Students will learn core texts from Unity founders and teachers through active practice sessions.
In the second session, you will continue to practice the prayer principles and integrate them into a daily
practice using several types of meditation.
Students will learn how to use these principles
throughout every day. Prayer and its high frequency
focus becomes natural to you, enabling you to
literally live life as a prayer, facing everything with equanimity, centeredness, and balance.
This class is a requirement to become a Unity Prayer Chaplain, a service opportunity ripe with reward for ourselves and our spiritual community.
