A Joyful Noise Every Sunday!

Music, choir, concerts, and more! Led by Ken Clark, Music Director, Unity on the River's Music Team includes musicians who are renown throughout New England.

THE BAND

KEN CLARK, MUSIC DIRECTOR

Keyboard artist and vocalist Ken Clark is the leader of the the Ken Clark Organ Trio, which recently signed with Severn records, with glowing reviews from many publications worldwide including Jazz Is, Bassplayer Magazine and the LA Times. Ken was recently voted best keyboardist by the Boston Blues Society. He has toured and recorded internationally with world renowned artists such as Michelle Willson, Melvin Sparks, and Fathead Newman.

CURTIS JEROME HAYNES

Curtis is a former Music Director at Unity on the River and has been called a “mean honky-tonk piano player” by Blue Access Magazine for his work with Roll & Tumble, a band described by Blues Revue as “the country’s premiere country blues band.” He now plays piano and organ for The Chicken Slacks Soul Revue, appearing every Thursday night at the historic Cantab Lounge in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Curtis has co-produced several Roll & Tumble CDs and recently produced Meg Rayne’s CD Let’s Put  the Moon to Bed.

MATTHEW TAYLOR

Matthew has been with the Unity band for many years and when he's not playing Amesbury, you can find him playing elsewhere in New England, such as on Martha's Vineyard.

KEITH BICKFORD

Keith started out as a congregant and within a few weeks, joined the band and is now an integral part of the team.
