Unity on the River - Our Values

We are each an expression of Divine Love. As vehicles of love, we are here to love ourselves and one another. We know all that occurs is an expression of God’s love. We say, ”What does love ask of me here?”

Faith and Trust in God

We trust in divine order—the perfect out-working which reveals that “all things work together for good.” There is one Presence, One Power in our lives and in the universe- God, the Good, Omnipotence.

Consciousness

Through education and deepening of spiritual practices we transform our consciousness. We grow to see the goodness of God in all creation and all circumstances. This unfolding realization of our oneness with God and each other comes through the Holy Spirit.

The Christ—the pattern of perfection—the Divinity in all beings

We are here to remember who we really are, and to aid humanity in awakening to its Divinity. We are co-creators with God. We believe our 12 Spiritual Powers aid us in awakening to our Christ nature. We use teachings of Jesus Christ, our Way-shower, and metaphysical interpretations of the Bible to lead us into full expression of our indwelling Christ nature.

Healing

God is the healing Presence that lives within us all. We co-create with God an experience of love, joy, and personal fulfillment that heals body, mind and soul. Wholeness is our inheritance as children of God.

Children

We honor and support the spiritual journey of all families. We serve to call out the inner wisdom in the heart of all God’s children. We bless each child as a holy child, a valued expression of the most-high God.

The Arts

Music, the written word, and the visual arts are all unique creative expressions of our Christ nature and our spiritual gifts.

Hospitality

We are welcoming and we honor diversity—there is a place for everyone. Each of us has a valuable part to play. We honor all paths to God and are enriched by our fellowship with one another.
