Unity on the River

Music opens the soul and prepares one to experience the Presence of God. We take pride in our unique music program. It attracts musical talent from all over New England and incorporates many musical genres such as gospel, blues, rock, R&B, chant, and folk.

Music has been a vital part of my entire life. I have worked in many different types of venues with many different types of music. I am so pleased to be the Music Director at Unity on the River.

Creative expression and innovation is an integral part of the ministry here. We are committed to drawing upon the rich pool of talent within our own congregation as well as from the vast vocal and instrumental talent base in the New England area.

Each week music is carefully selected to enhance Rev. Shipley's celebratory service and spiritual theme. The results sometimes surprise even me! Come experience our music ministry—and feel free to join in the fun by being a part of our growing UOTR choir!
