Welcome!

At Unity on the River, we support all people in their individual quest to know God and find hope, healing, prosperity, and peace. Our philosophy offers a practical approach to Christianity and helps people of all faiths apply positive spiritual principles in their daily lives.

Unity on the River began in the mid-90¹s as a study group in the home of our minister, Rev. Shipley Allinson. We have grown into a rich and vibrant spiritual community that touches the lives of hundreds of people each week. We are affiliated with the Association of Unity Churches, a 115-year-old worldwide movement. There are over 900 Unity churches or study groups around the world.

We hope that you take a moment to explore who we are and learn more about our spiritual community.

To understand a bit about where we are coming from you may wish to read our History, our Mission, or our Values and Practices.

Prayer and Meditation are foundational practices at Unity. Our prayer practices are greatly enhanced by the sacred service of our devoted Chaplains.

Knowing that nothing is quite the same as human contact, we also encourage you to stop by the church for a visit or give us a call. It is our pleasure to share with you who we are and learn more about who you are.

Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, you are welcome at Unity on the River!
