Here is an overview of our spiritual education offerings:
Explore Unity: Classes and discussion groups designed to strengthen understanding of core teachings of the Unity movement. Examples include: Unity Basics (required for UOTR membership) and Life of Prayer.
Building Consciousness: Classes and discussion groups designed to strengthen understanding of our own psycho-spiritual development Examples include : Unlocking Your Soul’s Code: Pathway- Pathway to Breakthrough (led by Mary Manin Morrissey) and A Course in Miracles ( long-term study group nurturing love and reducing the experience of fear).
Prosperity and Abundance: Classes and discussion groups designed to strengthen understanding and experience of the flow of God’s good in our lives. Examples include the movie The Secret, a Law of Attraction workshop and ongoing study group, The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity workshop (led by Edwene Gaines), and the Keys to the Kingdom (this summer’s prosperity series.)
Healing and Wholeness: Classes, clinics, and discussion groups designed to strengthen understanding and experience of our intended state of balance and wellness. Examples include Unlimited Body workshop (led by local practitioner Dunja Moeller) and the Ishaya Ascension Meditation workshops (led by Kali Ishaya).
Creative Expression: Participatory classes and activities that engage body, mind, and spirit and encourage the outer expression of the inner spirtual journey. Examples include: The Creative Heart (by our Artist in Residence Paula Estey) and Solstice NIA Jam (led by NIA instructors Kristi Scarpone and Jenny Torok, accompanied by Rwanda drummers!)
Bible Mastery: Classes and discussion groups designed to strengthen understanding of Unity’s metaphysical interpretation of the Bible. Examples include: Great Dramas of the Bible and Metaphysical Bible Interpretation.
Global Community and Outreach: Classes, discussion groups, and service teams designed to strengthen understanding and application of spiritual principles on a broader scale. Examples include retreat and workshop on Climate Change: Despair and Empowerment (led by international activist John Seed) and The Inconvenient Truth movie and discussion group.
